Advice for Road Runners: Complete your training runs in comfort with the New Balance Women's Fresh Foam X 1080v13 Running Shoes. Reliable comfort is a key requirement of your daily running shoes. This version of the 1080 provides a significant amount of cushioning; helping you to complete more miles in more comfort.
Underfoot Feel
The 1080v13 has a midsole containing a new Fresh Foam X compound. The result? In comparison to the 1080v12, you should experience better energy return and softer cushioning. And all of this in shoes that weigh less than the 1080v12.
A rocker design helps you to move through the gait cycle with greater levels of efficiency. You should notice the vertical flex grooves on the outsole. These flex grooves - running front to back at the forefoot - help to increase stiffness at the forefoot. This should compliment the rocker-shaped midsole design as it should minimise energy loss as you are about to push off.
Upper Fit
The 1080v13 has an upper with breathable engineered mesh. The upper provides a structured and supportive fit.
Ideal Run Type
The New Balance Women's Fresh Foam X 1080v13 Running Shoes are best for low to moderately paced training runs. The soft cushioning and rocker-shaped midsole should help to take pressure off your feet and legs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
