Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Women's Ride 18 Running Shoes feature a newly formulated PWRRUN compound. The result? More energy return and softer landings.
Underfoot Feel
The premium PWRRUN cushioning in the Saucony Ride 18 Running Shoes should feel lighter, softer and more responsive than the previous version.
With 3% more midsole volume, the Ride 18 should also feel more cushioned.
Extra forefoot flex grooves should lead to smoother transitions from landing to take-off.
Finally, additional outsole rubber offers more traction. This is likely to improve the durability too.
Upper Fit
The Saucony Ride 18 Running Shoes feature an updated engineered mesh. However, the shoe last is the same as the last edition. This means wearers of the Ride 17 Running Shoes should opt for the same size in the Ride 18 Running Shoes.
The upper also has fewer overlays - which results in a sleeker profile. Additional foam in the heel area should improve comfort levels.
Ideal Run Type
The Saucony Women's Ride 18 Running Shoes should perform very well for everyday runs. This is because the midsole should feel comfortable at slower paces, and energetic if you pick up the pace.
While the Ride 18 are not max-cushioned running shoes, the high-degree of cushioning is ideal for longer-distance runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
